 7 Steps to Bring Your Blog URL in Google


These days, you can start a blog and make money off it, but it's not always easy to get people to visit your site regularly. One of the best ways to keep people coming back, especially if you're trying to make money with your blog, is to appear near the top of Google search results when someone searches for your niche topic. Here are seven steps you can take to bring your website URL to the top of Google searches.


1) Check out Keyword planner

It’s hard to know how many people search for a particular topic unless you track it. The free Keyword Planner tool at AdWords can help with that. This will allow you to type in several topics and see which ones get searched for most often. Make sure your topic isn’t too specific or broad, or too similar from one industry to another. You also don’t want to choose something too general; ideally, your potential audience should be able find you by searching a term they use every day—not some random phrase they only use once a year.


2) Optimize the page you want to rank with keywords
